Community Wellbeing Support Worker (based in Newry)

Full-Time

Hours of work: 35hrs

Contract: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract from Sept 25” - Subject to funding

Salary: £24, 988 (£13.73/hr) Year 1 rising to £25, 571 (£14.05/hr) in Year 2 + 4% Pension (pro rata)

Student Counsellor Placement

Part-Time

Hours of work: 3+hours

Contract: Voluntary

Salary: expenses only

Location: Portadown or Newry

We offer Student Counsellor placements for face to face counselling (telephone counselling also available) based in either our Portadown and Newry offices.

This opportunity is available for students who are studying in colleges throughout Northern Ireland and placement intake will begin in September on a yearly basis. Placements are awarded based on demand for counselling services and scope within Women’s aid Armagh Down to facilitate same.

You will be required to attend an interview prior to the commencement of any placement followed by an induction if you are successful.

Pre commitment prior to placement is a minimum of half a day a week for six months.
